Clarity

There are these moments in which we pause and think. Thoughts are
numerous, so I'm sure, those moments exist in different versions depending on the person who's living them. Not only do these moments vary from person to person, but also from the person's emotions, his mood and his momentarily taken mind-set. (Let's face it: one day we have a positive mind-set, the other day we think the entire world is set in motion against us.) The pause I want to talk about, is one I had in one of my more tranquil, clear moments. It's one of those pauses I just LOVE.

During this pause, you don't feel like you have to prove anything. You feel completely relaxed and comfortable about yourself. Every thought comes in clear and makes sense. You know who is dear to you. Who you love and why you love them and why they love you. A moment in which you observe - see this indeed as its most distant form, meaning not judging, not interfering - that all people are so different. Some people are acting differently. Mostly, because of human nature, we adapt, behave a bit differently. But it's just because of that pause, that moment of self-awareness, that you don't adapt. You stay yourself. You find yourself, being the person who you want to be, taken the good and bad. It's one of life's wonderful moments, that moment of Clarity.
